I noticed (by a mistake) that there is actually already a "private instance" which is the log-in area. I think this area is a good start, but with some small adjustments it could be much more useful. The spawn point in this area: The spawn point should be "further back" (in the center of the area) so that people understand that this is an interactive starting area, not just a logon menu (UI). See attached picture for placement example. The view from that spawn location is better IMO, as I immediately see that I've entered a place of multiple opportunities. Things that I believe should be available in this area (see attached picture): A gondola (see picture). This takes you straight to Quaz5ar (with your currently active avatar. Avatar can be changed in stash tab). If one walks straight into the gondole, you are prompted with "travel to XXXX". By default that is Qua5ar, but one can choose a different quarter on a small display on the exterior of the gondole before entering it. A "stash tab". The "browser" that already is in place can be used. Just make it a display for avatar selection, inventory scrolling, clothing changes, etc.. "My stash" kind of thing. An information station. A display with main happenings in the Valt. Popular locations, upcoming events (with TP button), etc. 3D asset showcase. Somewhere one can view their 3d assets. Cars, etc. Access to this private space: I think this area should be easily accessible from wherever a player is located in the Valt. Not just as a log in menu. Put a button in the top right corner or somewhere else - but easily accessible. Call the button "Go home", "travel home", "Valt home", or something else, idk. It has to be easy to understand and easy to access. Existing black screens: I noticed there are a couple of floating "screens". These should be improved slightly. They are completely black until you walk very close to them, which is confusing and not pretty. At least they should have a stock "photo" until you get close. The "tutorial video" on one of the screens show up as a windowed youtube video which looks a bit amateurish. Should at least be fullscreen. The video itself is not very befinner friendly, it is more of a marketing video. A welcome video should be more engaging and gameplay focused. Design: The design is not the most important for this area imo, but the use cases have to be clear and clean here. This area is where you keep or lose players IMO. Very vital as it's each player's own personal space.
